Salad with cod roe
Ingredients
  • 300 г cod roe “Vodniy mir"
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g rice
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 g mayonnaise
  • to taste pepper and salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice, pour into a saucepan and cover with cold salted water. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, covered with lid.
  2. While the rice is being cooked, boil 2 eggs for 10 minutes. Put them into a cold water to cool down. Meanwhile, boil the carrot for 15 minutes in a separate pan.
  3. Rinse the cooked rice under running cold water using a strainer.
  4. Grate previously peeled carrot and boiled eggs.
    Spread 1 layer of rice on the dish, then – a layer of cod roe.
  5. Add mayonnaise to the mixture of eggs and carrot. Mix well and put as a top-layer.
  6. Sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish with olives.
