Spicy potatoes with herring and cheese

400 g potatoes
500 g salted herring fillet "Vodniy mir"
1 bunch onion
3 tablespoons sunflower oil
to taste black pepper

Wash potatoes, peel and place them into a pan with water.

Cover, bring to a low boil, and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until through and tender.

Drain and put aside to cool down. Then slice into round pieces.

Season potato with pepper.

Cut herring fillet into small pieces and grate cheese.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Pour sunflower oil onto the baking dish. Place potatoes to the bottom sides and herring to the center. Garnish with cheese.

Bake in the oven over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Sprinkle bunch-onion and serve while hot. Bon appetit!
